Cyclone season 2016/17 is here!
So, in this practice news article, we would like to take the opportunity to outline our policy regarding appointments and opening hours when there is a cyclone alert in place.
When a cyclone WATCH is issued, please ensure you keep informed on local media for updates and warnings.
Cyclone warnings
If there is a BLUE ALERT, all appointments will remain as scheduled and we will be open during our normal operating hours.
If a YELLOW ALERT in place by 8am, the surgery will be closed for that day, and all appointments are cancelled.
However, if the yellow alert is not called until sometime during the day, please contact us on 9185 4849 to double check, as your appointment may still go ahead.
If there is a RED ALERT: The surgery will be closed until all clear is announced.
If cyclone related events or road closures have occurred that may prevent you from making it to your appointment please contact us, on 9185 4849.
